To assist offshore operations Geomarine has developed geoROV, a light weight and compact soil testing system for deployment from a typical work class ROV.
The tool is designed to be highly transportable and suitable for use offshore without specialist staff. geoROV has been specifically designed to either test undisturbed soils, or to confirm the nature of material placed backfill over pipelines.
geoCORE is an ROV mounted tool which fully complements geoROV and recovers cores of hard soils and rock.
Geomarine has recently completed the design and build of geoJET, an ROV-type trenching tool specifically developed to meet the new demands of the shallow water renewable energy industry. The tool includes several innovative features which assist operation in this particularly demanding and cost sensitive sector.
